21st Century Acaedemy is a voluntary alternative pathway with individualized instruction designed to allow students to work at their own pace with the assistance of teachers and instructional assistants. 21st Century allows students to learn in a smaller setting with more individualized attention than the traditional high school. Students work to meet all district required credits for graduation. Many of the courses are completed through computer-based curriculum.
Prior to enrolling, each student will meet with a school team and parent/guardian to develop an Individualized Learning Plan Addendum, or ILPA. This is a plan for success, which includes: schedule, attendance, career path, and assessments.
